This project is the result of two studies described on the webpages of Copley Ditch and Black Pond Outlet Study and the Copley Meadows Study. The improvements for Black Pond Outlet will be a separate project.
Status:
This project design is 100% complete and construction is planned for 2027.
- 04/02/2026: Tree Cutting has been completed in this area.
- 06/15/2026: Final Hearing at County Council
- 06/29/2026: County Council has approved the plans, easements, and easement compensation.
- 09/03/2026: Summit County has applied for a grant from Ohio Emergency Management Agency (EMA)
