For Contractors, Vendors & Partners
**Please note that Summit County is now using Vendor Self Service for bidding and requests for proposals** Providing up-to-date information to contractors, vendors, and project partners is critical to maintaining Summit County's infrastructure.
Current and Upcoming Projects
Our project search page is an excellent tool for finding out which of our projects are currently out to bid or to find out what will be coming soon.
How to Bid
The Summit County Engineer's Office uses two programs to bid projects.
Construction projects will be bid using Bid Express, as that is the service used by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Potential vendors and bidders must be registered at www.bidexpress.com. A vendor resources link is provided below.
The other service SCE uses is Munis Vendor Self Service. This is used for professional service contracts and task order contracts. All potential bidders and contractors must be registered with Summit County through Vendor Self Service. Find out how to register and search for jobs with the links and examples below. The Summit County Executive's Purchasing Department has more information here.
Firms providing engineering should be registered through Vendor Self Service and have a statement of qualifications on file with the Summit County Engineer's office. For Vendor Self Service help, please call (330) 643-2557. To send in a Statement of Qualifications, email email@example.com.
