Valley View Road Closure for 11 Days

Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker, PE, PS would like to alert residents and motorists of an upcoming 11-day closure of Valley View Road starting Monday, October 16th, 2023. This will be a daytime closure from 8:00am-5:00pm. The section of Valley View Road being closed is located between State Route 8 and Olde 8 Road. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained. This closure is due to shoulder/pavement widening.
The detour route will be posted. The detour route involves State Route 8 and Olde 8 Road. All work is subject to inclement weather.
