180 Day Closure of Snyder Ave.

Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker, P.E., P.S. would like to alert residents and motorists of an upcoming 180-day closure of Snyder Ave starting Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026. The section of Snyder Ave being closed is located between Fairland Road and S. Van Buren Road. Access will be maintained to all adjacent properties including the Wolf Creek trailhead parking lot for the duration of the project. This closure is due to a replacement of the Snyder Ave bridge over the Tuscarawas River.
The detour route will be posted. The detour route involves Van Buren Road (CR 60), Robinson Avenue (CR 54), Wooster Road (CR 96) and Hudson Run (CR 65). All work is subject to inclement weather.
