This project will be a complete replacement of the existing 28 ft long by 34 ft wide Akron Peninsula Rd. Bridge over Salt Run. It is located just south of Truxell Road in Boston Townhip.
Status:
We are applying for 2026 CEAO LBR funds for this bridge replacement. If we are successful in getting grant funds, design will begin in 2027 with an anticipated construction year of 2030.
Maintenance of Traffic:
To be determined in the design phase.
