2 Day Van Buren Road Closure

Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker, PE, PS would like to alert residents and motorists of an upcoming 2-day closure of Van Buren Road starting Monday, October 6th, 2025. The section of Van Buren Road being closed is located between Vanderhoof Rd. and Center Rd. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained. This closure is due to bridge maintenance including sealing the bridge deck and approach slab.
The detour route will be posted. The detour route involves Vanderhoof Road, Grove Road and Center Road. All work is subject to inclement weather.
