Public Notice : Springfield Township, OH - Pressler Road Bridge over Tuscarawas River

Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker, PE, PS would like to alert residents and motorists of an upcoming 77-day closure of the Pressler Road Bridge over the South Fork of the Tuscarawas River starting Monday, August 14, 2023. The bridge is located on Pressler Road between Long Road and Myersville Road, just west of the Pressler Road - Myersville Road intersection. This closure is due to a bridge replacement project.

The contractor on this $933,000.00 project is Black Horse Bridge Construction, Inc. This project is 100% funded with federal funds and Ohio Department of Transportation Bridge Credit Program funds.

The detour route will be posted. The detour route involves Myersville Road and Killian Road. All work is subject to inclement weather.
